Who we are looking for
- Quran Reading and Tajweed: correct, fluent recitation in the narration of Hafs, and experience teaching children.
- Tajweed: formal tajweed study with a named teacher or institute; an ijazah with a verifiable chain is welcome.
- Adab: sound Islamic studies and experience with children or teenagers.
- Tafseer: formal Islamic studies, strong classical Arabic and at least two years of teaching adults.
- All teachers: Pashto or Dari, a reliable internet connection, a quiet teaching space, and availability during European afternoons, evenings or weekend mornings.
How we select teachers
- Send the application below.
- Interview by video, including a recitation assessment.
- Checks of the qualifications you list and of two references.
- Safeguarding training and a short trial lesson.
- Agreement and onboarding.
Our safeguarding commitment
Teachers teach only on academy accounts, never contact children directly, and follow our child safeguarding policy. Teachers living in Afghanistan are never asked to show their face publicly or to publish their name.
