Important Issues of Introduction is a collection of 189 questions and answers covering the recognition of Allah, faith, the human soul, self-awareness, worship, remembrance of Allah (Dhikr), and the understanding of Allah’s names and attributes.
The learner pathway
A child usually moves from Quran Reading (levels QR1, QR2 and QR3) to Tajweed (TJ1 and TJ2), while joining an Adab group alongside. An adult who already reads fluently is placed straight into Tajweed after the trial class, and may also join Tafseer.
- Quran Reading QR1 to QR3: letters, vowels, joining, then reading from the mushaf.
- Tajweed TJ1 and TJ2: correct articulation and the rules of recitation.
- Adab: Islam Social Manners: weekly small groups by age, alongside the Quran lessons.
- Tafseer: understanding the Quran, for adults and learners aged 16 and over.
