Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions families ask us most.

Classes

Is the trial class really free?

Yes. Each learner can have one free 20 to 30 minute class. We do not ask for payment details.

What do my child and I need?

A computer, tablet or phone with a camera, a stable internet connection, a quiet place, and a Qaida or Mushaf. For children under 13, a parent or guardian should be at home and nearby.

Which language will the teacher use?

Pashto or Dari, as you choose when you enrol. Teachers can also explain in English and, where available, German.

How long are lessons and how often?

One-to-one lessons are 20 to 45 minutes depending on age, usually two or three times a week. Adab groups meet once a week for 40 to 45 minutes.

What times are classes?

Mostly weekday afternoons and evenings (16:00 to 19:30) and weekend mornings (09:00 to 13:00) in your local time. One-to-one times are agreed with you after the trial class.

What happens if we miss a lesson?

If you tell us at least 24 hours before, we offer a makeup lesson within 14 days. If the teacher cancels, you always get a makeup lesson or a credit.

Safety

Are classes recorded?

No, not by default. A class is recorded only with written consent from a parent (or the adult learner), and the academy keeps recordings for a limited time.

Can girls have a female teacher?

We are recruiting female teachers for girls and women. Tell us your preference in the trial class form.

Will the teacher contact my child directly?

No. Teachers never message children by phone or social media. All messages go to parents through the academy's official WhatsApp number or email.

Fees

How much does it cost?

Quran Reading and Tajweed start from €35 a month, Adab from €15 and Tafseer from €20. Your exact fee is confirmed in writing after the trial class. Families with several children receive a discount.

Can I pay online?

Not on this website. After the trial class we explain how to pay, and we never ask for card details by WhatsApp or email.

Technology

Which app do you use for classes?

We use the academy's own video-meeting accounts. You receive a link before the class; you do not need to create an account.

Certificates

Do you give certificates?

Learners who complete a level receive an Evaz Certificate of Completion. It is not an accredited qualification or an ijazah.
