Our mission
Quran, understanding and good character, in your family's language
Evaz Online Academy helps Afghan children, teenagers and adults in Europe read the Quran correctly, understand its message from clearly identified sources, and grow in good character. Our teachers speak your language, and our timetable fits school, work and family life.
About usCorrect before fast
A learner moves on when a skill is secure, not when a week has passed.
Mercy and encouragement
Teachers never shame or shout at a learner. Effort is always valued.
Clear sources
Every verse and hadith is cited by surah and verse, or by collection and number.
Families are partners
Parents know what their child is practising each week.

Why learn online with Evaz
Learn at home
No travel. Classes from a quiet corner of your home, on a computer, tablet or phone.
European times
Weekday afternoons and evenings, and weekend mornings, in your local time (CET or UK time).
Your language
Teachers explain in Pashto or Dari, and in English or, where available, German when your child understands it better.
Parents stay informed
A short monthly progress report in the language you choose.
Safe by design
Academy-controlled class accounts, no private messaging between teachers and children, and a published safeguarding policy.
Small groups
Manners and Tafseer are taught in small groups, so every learner gets to speak.
How we teach
The same five steps in every lesson
Learners and parents always know what to expect.
- 1
Opening
Salam, bismillah, and getting ready to learn.
- 2
Review
Revise the last lesson and check homework.
- 3
New learning
The teacher recites, the learner repeats, then reads alone.
- 4
Practice and feedback
The teacher corrects one or two things at a time.
- 5
Close and homework
The learner says what they learned and gets the week's practice.
For recitation we use "listen, echo, try, fix": short units, clear models, and gentle correction.
Our teachers
Checked before they teach
Every teacher is interviewed, has their recitation assessed and their references checked before teaching. Teacher profiles will appear here once each teacher has agreed to be introduced.
We are recruiting female teachers for girls and women.

Is the trial class really free?
Yes. Each learner can have one free 20 to 30 minute class. We do not ask for payment details.
What do my child and I need?
A computer, tablet or phone with a camera, a stable internet connection, a quiet place, and a Qaida or Mushaf. For children under 13, a parent or guardian should be at home and nearby.
Which language will the teacher use?
Pashto or Dari, as you choose when you enrol. Teachers can also explain in English and, where available, German.
Are classes recorded?
No, not by default. A class is recorded only with written consent from a parent (or the adult learner), and the academy keeps recordings for a limited time.
Can girls have a female teacher?
We are recruiting female teachers for girls and women. Tell us your preference in the trial class form.
Do you give certificates?
Learners who complete a level receive an Evaz Certificate of Completion. It is not an accredited qualification or an ijazah.
